Today we are excited to announce the next chapter in CloudMGR’s journey.
CloudMGR has been acquired by Cloudability!
CloudMGR launched over 4 years ago as one of the first AWS technology partners in APAC with its head office in Brisbane Australia and an office based in San Francisco. Our goal was always to make the public cloud (AWS) easier for customers to use and understand. Through our journey, we created integrations with a number of products including Jira, Connectwise, Zendesk & Autotask all to create a better experience for our users.
We have enjoyed the strong support from our customers and partners. In particular the AWS ANZ team, the Australian government via AusIndustry and our main shareholders Brisbane Angels.
More than 4000 users later we have built a credible service that is used by large enterprises, SME’s and MSP’s. Building a worldwide Cloud Management service it takes a lot of capital, engineering talent and enormous effort from all our staff which management is eternally grateful for.
What Happens Now
We are excited to become a part of the Cloudability family. We feel very comfortable with the Team having known Mat and JR for some time. I was actually one of the trial users for Cloudability before forming CloudMGR! Having worked with a number of US technology companies over the last 10 years we had a strong preference for one based on the West Coast and thankfully they are based in Portland Oregon. Cloudability created the Cost Management Space and we are thrilled to join the market-leading team.
I will be taking up a newly created role of General Manager for ANZ with a dedicated local team. We will be reaching out to our customers individually as we discuss the product roadmap moving forward.
The combination of the market-leading cloud cost management platform with CloudMGR’s automation features is very exciting. This combination will provide our customers with a truly next-generation service & we look forward to working with you on this journey forward.
